RESPONSIBLE SUPPLY CHAIN
Our goal is to deliver distinct, innovative, premium, best-in-class products and services that generate beautiful solutions, exude confidence and joy and elevate social and environmental stewardship.
As a leading women’s retailer, we are active participants in the complex global fashion supply chain. As we source raw materials, develop fabrics, produce garments in our value chain, and distribute finished products through our retail and wholesale channels, we strive to be responsible stewards and partners by promoting practices that are environmentally, socially and ethically conscious.
With a Passion for FASHION in our DNA, we are identifying ways to improve our environmental footprint and generate positive, beneficial impacts within our supply chain. By doing so, we hope to ensure our customers can be confident about the global impact of their purchases and along the way create greater brand enthusiasm.
Our approach to responsible material sourcing focuses on the identification and introduction of raw materials that embody ethical practices in terms of the welfare of the people producing them, stewardship of the physical environment or livestock from which it is harvested and the overall environmental impact. We consider the location from which the materials are acquired, the procurement practices involved and the types of fibers used in the fabric creations. We also take a hazard-based approach to our chemicals management, which emphasizes awareness, minimization and/or avoidance of substances with potential adverse impacts.
The practices of our partners are a true reflection of how we are contributing to a more sustainable and socially conscious supply chain.
We engage with suppliers who share our commitment to minimizing our environmental impacts and ensuring everyone has the right to safe, healthy and humane working conditions. We hold our partners accountable to our Global Vendor Code of Conduct and Human Rights Policy and have robust processes in place to assure compliance by our Tier 1 vendors through auditing, measuring performance and monitoring improvements. All of this is to foster a culture of transparency and continuous improvement in social, labor and environmental practices.
